🕯.. 1/23 – Al Hasan bin al Sabbāh al Bazzār narrated to us, ‘Alī bin al Hasan bin Shaqīq narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Mubārak, he said: It was said to him: How should we know our Lord? He said: That He is above the seventh sky, on His throne, separate from His creation.
💠 Abū Sa’īd ؒ said: And from that which verifies the saying of Ibn Mubārak is: The saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the slave girl: «Where is Allah?», testing by that her Īmān (belief), so when she said: Above the sky, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «Free her for indeed she is a believer», and the narrations regarding that from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ are many, and the proofs are manifest, and all praise belongs to Allah for that.
