🕯909 – My father (Imām Ahmad bin Hanbal) narrated to me, Wakī’ narrated to us, Sa’īd bin ‘Abdul ‘Azīz narrated to us, from Rabī’ah bin Yazīd, from Ibn al Daylamī, he said: I asked Ibn ‘Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both) about the drying of the pen? He said: «Indeed Allah Almighty and Sublime when He created the creation, threw His light over them, so whoever got something of it was guided.»
