The Imām and Jurist Ibn Sahl Su‘lūkī, at Naysabūr, said: I heard my father saying: I used to sometimes go to Ashari and write something from him, so one day I came to him on Friday and we’d prayed Asr, and I saw him urinating from the crack of the door, so when he finished urinating, I came in, and he said to me, “You’ve prayed Asr?” I said, “Yes.” Then he stood up and prayed and didn’t do wudu! So I went away, and destroyed everything I had written from him, and never went back to him.
