Verily the misguided Rāfidah are 18 sects, and they are nicknamed the ‘Imāmiyyah’, and we shall mention them all in order in sha Allah.
The first of them is the deviated sect of the Saba’iyyah and others.
They are the companions of ‘Abdullah bin Saba’. They said to ‘Alī (may Allah be pleased with him), “You are you.” He said, “And who am I?”They said, “The creator (God).”So he called them to repent but they did not return, so he kindled a huge fire for them and burned them and said in poetry:
When I saw the matter gone too farI kindled my fire and called Qambarā
As part of verses of poetry by him (may Allah be pleased with him)
And there are verily factions of them still existent today who say that, and they recite from the Quran {It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Quran) And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran’s) recital.} And they say ‘verily ‘Alī did not die and death is not permissible for him, and he is alive, he does not die.’ And it is said that when the news of his death reached them in Kufa (may Allah have mercy on him), they said, “Even if you came to us with his brain in seventy vessels, we would not believe his death,” and that reached al Hasan bin ‘Alī (may Allah be pleased with them both), so he responded, “Then why have we inherited his money and his wives have remarried.”
